Shibori Hemp Socks - Indigo

We sweat the details on these so you (and your footsies) wouldn’t have to! After two years of trial and error, we finally landed on the perfect hemp sock. Seriously, only buy these if you’re ready to reassess every other pair of socks in your sock drawer. Organic cotton, hemp, and a touch of lycra are all you need for a sweat-free and truly breathable shoe wearing experience.

Taken from our stock of hemp crew socks, we hand dyed these ourselves using a most natural and ancient form of color dye, the Indigo.

2 years ago, if you had shopped the internet for a pair of hemp socks, you would notice the lack of options that existed & should you actually stumble upon a pair or two like we had, you would also notice the lack in terms of quality and aesthetic as most hemp socks were made as novelty products.  Hence, their durability were extremely far below that of the traditional socks made from synthetic and/or inorganic fibers. Additionally, the socks would also not be made in the USA as most hosiery equipment were shipped overseas.  Even today, most hemp socks you'll find online are coming out of the Ukraine region for whatever reason.

With a continual desire to showcase hemp's viability as a fiber to make everyday essentials like socks, we took time in sourcing quality hemp yarn and in finding the right American hosiery partner to collaborate with in materializing our design.  With their years of experience, hosiery equipment & amazing energy coupled with our love for hemp, aesthetic, comfort & quality, we present to you our version of the American-Made CLASSIC CREW HEMP SOCKS, what we honestly believe to be the best hemp socks in the market today.

Pros:

  • Naturally Breathable & Moisture wicking
  • Antimicrobial—alleviates smelly feet
  • Holds there shape well despite minimal elastic
  • Comfortable for all-day wear
  • Compatible for work-boots & heavy duty wear
  • Hemp is longer lasting than cotton alone
  • Natural & Organic
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Made in USA
  • Cons:

    • Not as soft as regular common socks. Slightly brash on first wear but softens over time, especially after wash.
    • Does have 6% Lycra, but not exposed to skin.

*Your support truly goes a long way!

We donate our time as well as 10%+ of our profits in a variety of ways such as monthly contributions to orphanages, special needs opportunities & animals through these 3 amazing organizations:
